About:
Samta.Law, is a legal intelligence systems company which specializes in AI/ML applications for legal work. They build software systems for legal work with the aim to reduce mundane work and create bandwidth for more creative legal work which adds to business value.
Role:
The Legal Systems Intern will work closely with the founding team in designing, building, testing and deploying the product features. This could include:
- Interviewing practicing lawyers and companies
- Drafting use case description documents
- Breaking down the thinking into steps and flow charts
- Creating product performance benchmarks
- Communicating with a wider use group on the new feature releases

Skills and Experience:
Given the nature of the work they are seeking candidates who have demonstrated multidisciplinary capabilities and are self motivated. You could either have legal or engineering educational background with below criteria fulfilled:

Overall the key aspects of a successful applicant would have demonstrated appetite for:
- Learning wide subject material (Law, Music, Computer Science, Space Science, Bio Science etc.)
- Demonstrated appetite to building and making things (Small softwares, websites, chatbots, robotics projects, other initiatives)
- Practicing Empathy (social service, leading clubs etc)
Compensation and Term:
The compensation will be competitive and as per current legal industry standards. The term is extendable upon mutual agreement.
