ABOUT THE EXAMINATION
The High Court of Manipur on 27.01.2022 released the upcoming Manipur Judicial Services Examination notification.
Candidates can apply for the post of Civil Judge(Junior Division) by direct recruitment. Online forms are opening from 14.02.2022 (11:00 A.M.).
The last date of closing of online registration and submission is 28.02.2022 (4:00 P.M.).
The pay scale for this post is Rs.2770-770-33090-920-40450-1080-44770/

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE EXAM
- Must be a holder of Degree in the law of a recognized University.
- The candidate must have knowledge of the State Official Language.
- Must be a citizen of India.
Note: During Examination candidates will be required to carry identity cards (Aadhar, Pan Card, Driving Licence), etc.
AGE
On the late date (28th February 2022) fixed for receipt of applications, the candidate must not exceed the age of-
- 35 Years for Unreserved (UR)
- 38 Years for OBC(M)/OBC(MP)
- 40 years for ST/SC
APPLICATION FEES
Candidates can pay the application fees through online mode only
- Rs. 1500 for UR/OBC Candidates
- Rs. 1000 for ST/SC Candidates

STAGES AND SYLLABUS FOR THE EXAM
PRELIMS
Manipur Judicial Services preliminary examination consists of 200 marks (objective questions with multiple choices on OMR).
There shall be two papers, namely English and General Knowledge and the Law Paper. Both papers carry 100 marks each with a total duration of two hours.

VIVA
The interview round carries 70 marks. The minimum prescribed benchmark is 40%. In this stage, successful candidates of the Main Examination will face the honorable interviewers & will get quizzed on legal knowledge. They shall also be judged on their personality.
