Paralegal
Qualifications:
Seeking a mid to senior level candidate with many years of paralegal experience from within a law firm or corporate setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree and/or paralegal certificate required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of practical experience
- Familiarity with India laws and corporate compliance work
Knowledges, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:
- Particular knowledge of employment and corporate law, particularly in India
- Excellent interpersonal skills, business judgment and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment
- Ability to handle changing workload priorities and deadlines
- Highly organized with professional demeanor
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize and provide exceptional service to both internal and external clients
Additional Requirements (if Any)
- Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, as required
Responsibilities:
- Provide support in drafting a variety of agreements and legal documents from templates: employment offer letters and others
- Provide contract administration and organization in database; partner with attorneys, HR, IT to create an efficient contracts management process
- Provide project management and deadline tracking for a variety of employment, corporate, immigration projects that involve the legal department
- Liaise with outside counsel on select projects
- Draft agreements, resolutions, and other legal documents for attorney review
- Maintain contract, corporate governance, and other regulatory compliance files, including organizing and indexing of files
- Assist in due diligence activities and coordination of closing deliveries for transactions
- Perform legal and other research as needed
- Prepare and maintain minute books and corporate resolutions with attorney review
- Provide support for board meetings, shareholders meetings, and other corporate governance activities.
- Provide support in reviewing invoices received by third-party service providers
