About:
Mr Harsha Peechara has over 18 years of experience in advising on commercial litigation and arbitration. He represents private entities, public sector undertakings, local bodies and government departments in civil and commercial litigation before various Indian courts (including before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, the National Green Tribunal, the National Consumer Commission, the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, the Competition Appellate Tribunal and National Company Law Appellate Tribunal), and in arbitration disputes. The sectors on which he advises are arbitration law, electricity laws, competition law, contract law, Municipal laws, Service Law and Education laws etc.
Mr Harsha Peechara graduated from the National Law School of India University in Bangalore (2004) and completed his LL.M. from the George Washington University School of Law, Washington D.C, in 2007. He is licensed to practice law in India and is also a member of the New York Bar.

Qualifications:
Candidate must be comfortable with and excited to appear before different Courts and Fora and posses the ability to independently handle matters assigned along with proficiency in the English language and strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
Drafting work will include: Special Leave Petitions, Civil Suits, Statements of Claim and/or Defence, Writ Petitions (primarily before DHC), Counter Affidavits/ Rejoinders/Status Reports for various government authorities/ agencies, pleadings before the Hon’ble NGT.
