Role:
Review of a high volume of daily developments in U.S. tax and accounting and creation of summaries of such developments for publication in a newsletter targeted at accounting and legal professionals. Other activities include writing explanatory material for products in specialty areas (e.g., tax accounting, pension law, estate and gift planning), with rapid turnaround time requirements; writing headnotes, briefs, and annotations; and summarizing relevant developments into news stories.
Qualification:
LLB / LLM or CPA ( Certified Public Accountant)
PQE:
0 – 4 yrs
Mandatory skills:
High degree of competence in English language skills, including writing, editing &proofreading.
Necessary skills:
- Ability to swiftly synthesize a large amount of complex tax material, selected from all developments arriving each day, and pick out the most critical aspects for the target audience.
- Ability to review multiple complex documents (cases, rulings, reports, etc.), and write multiple news stories and headnotes quickly and accurately each day, on deadline for a daily news service
- Ability to write and edit on deadline
- Ability to use CMS( Chicago Manual of Style)
Expectations:
Expect the selected candidate to work on the account for 2-3 yrs.
Time:
- US Time ( 9am to 6 pm Chicago) = IST 8.30 pm to 5.30 am.
- 48 hrs per week (including Sat)
Holidays:
As per US Calendar ( public & optional)
CTC:
- 27k to 35k per month (Fresher)
- 35k to 50k per month (Experienced)
