Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in Litigation Law firms, Legal in multi-subsidiary conglomerate. Cross border experience in Real Estate will be given higher preference
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to handle people in leadership positions
- Highly organised, detail-oriented professional with excellent follow up skills
- Problem – solving skills
- Knowledge of Regulatory practices
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- The candidate should be able to come to office everyday and be willing to work on weekends as well whenever required
Responsibilities:
As in charge of Legal and corporate compliance functions, the Legal team is required to understand the pressure points, strategy and objectives of the BHIVE Workspace business and effectively communicate the risks and legal issues involved in any decision to management. This enables management to make informed strategic choices within an acceptable legal risk profile. The team is required to create a framework for Corporate compliances that allows maintenance of high standards of Corporate Governance. The team is also required to provide legal advice and work closely with the Expansion team on finalisation of new spaces for the BHIVE Workspace expansion plan, therefore, a thorough understanding of the legal issues and skill set to negotiate commercials with Landlords/ real estate developers in relation to commercial leases are required. The Legal work will require deep amounts of engagement with related teams such as Finance, Expansion, Design, Set-up, and operations.
- Drafting, vetting, approving, negotiating and settling various types of agreements including but not limited to:
- Knowledge on CPC, CRPC, Stamp and duty registration, Transfer of Property Act, Indian Contract Act and other applicable regulations
- Deeds Leave and License Agreement, Lease Agreement, Rental Agreements, Membership Agreements, MOUs, LOIs, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Acquisition Agreements, Funding Agreements, Marketing/ Operations/Service Agreements, Franchise Agreements, Business Conducting Agreements, Renewal Agreements, Cancellation Deeds, Rectification, Deeds, Supplementary Agreements, Share Subscription Agreements, Commission agreement, Shareholders agreement etc.
- Well acquainted with Companies Act and other Central & State laws and regulations.
- Court case management, Handling Litigations, Liaising, coordination and follow up with the advocates in relations to company legal matters/court cases, Infringement of TradeMark and CopyRights
- Registration of TradeMark and CopyRights
- Actively coordinating with other functional areas for day to day legal matters such as the issuance of notices, recovery of payments, disciplinary actions in terms of Leave and License Agreements, electricity issues.
- Preparing strategies to defend the company’s legal cases.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
