Senior Legal Officer
Qualifications:
- You are a Company Secretary (must) or have a degree in Law (preferred).
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken).
- You are flexible, proactive and attentive to details team player with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the provision of corporate secretarial services to clients based in foreign jurisdictions.
- Take ownership of Document management process including collection, renaming and storing of relevant documents in the central repository, updating trackers on a timely basis.
- Participate in knowledge transfer activities and ensure smooth and seamless transition to Pune office.
- Prepare legal documents for all stages of company lifecycle, i.e. from company incorporation through to dissolution, for clients worldwide in accordance to legal requirements with agreed deadlines.
- Prepare/ update Corporate structure charts of client structures serviced by Citco.
- Preparation of minutes of Board meetings/AGM/EGM.
- Perform and/ or monitor statutory filings/compliances with local authorities.
- Coordinate with business partners, clients and colleagues worldwide in order to gather information and/ or documentation required to carry out assignments.
- Review work of the Cosec team to ensure output is in accordance with client standards.
- Preparation/Updation of various reports related to utilization, trackers, taking corrective actions when needed and ensure deadlines are met and KPI’s are in good shape.
- Team Management and appraisals.
- Act as an SME and take active participation in global/local projects.
- Relationship building with all the stakeholders and effective collaboration with onshore colleagues.
