Role:
Legal Manager
Qualifications:
- The candidate must have 5 – 7 years of experience in corporate law.
- Strong legal and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Indian and international corporate and contractual laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective relationships at all organizational levels.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, vetting, negotiating, and closing various legal agreements such as master service agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, service level agreements, settlement agreements, RFPs, lease deeds, leave and license agreements, etc.
- Contract management (proper documentation and upkeeping of all agreements, contracts and their renewal on time).
- Provide timely legal advice and assistance to various business teams and other stakeholders.
- Provide legal advice to business on various legal queries such as trademark adoption, copyrights, data protection laws, etc.
- Managing litigation, drafting legal notices and replies, and advising and managing disputes to minimize company exposure and risks.
- Sending other business letters and communications.
- Assisting in key legal projects such as data protection compliances, corporate governance policies, terms around new services, etc.
- Liaising with external legal consultants for critical legal issues, wherever required.
- Analyze existing & new legislation/amendments that impact the Business; bring to the notice of the appropriate functions about their implications and applicability; guide them in formulating a suitable plan of action.
- Should have keen interest in learning and applying expertise with respect to international laws and regulations to provide advice on international transactions and transactions related to the group entities.
- Experience with filing and maintaining trademarks will be an added advantage.
