- SC directed the central government to frame a National Policy on menstrual hygiene for school-going girls in the country

- SC stated that the government may need to re-check its stance on Ranganath Mishra report.
- WTO panel has observed that India had violated global trading rules in an ongoing dispute with EU, Japan and Taiwan over import duties on IT products such as mobile phones and components, as well as integrated circuits.
