Role:
Assistant Manager / Manager – Legal (Debt/Loan, Transactional Advisory)
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university. A Master’s degree in Law (LLM) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-6 years of experience as a legal professional, with exposure to contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the rental industry, real estate laws, consumer protection laws, and contract law in India.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex legal issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate legal advice and negotiate contracts.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice and support to internal teams, including management, operations, and customer service, on various legal matters pertaining to rental agreements, contracts, and compliance.
- Contract Review: Review and draft legal agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to safeguard the interests of the company and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations affecting the rental industry and ensure the company’s adherence to legal requirements.
- Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving legal disputes and manage external legal counsel, if required, for efficient resolution.
- Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and proactively implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.
- Vendor and Partner Management: Review and negotiate legal terms with vendors, suppliers, and partners to maintain favorable and compliant relationships.
- Intellectual Property: Monitor and protect the company’s intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Litigation Support: Liaise with external legal counsel in case of litigation matters and represent the company in legal proceedings, when necessary.
