Qualifications:
They are looking for an open-minded, trustworthy and enthusiastic team player who:
- has a legal background
- has at least 3 years’ experience in the (re)insurance industry
- is a French native speaker and proficient in English
- is articulate and can communicate clearly and confidently
- enjoys explaining difficult legal concepts in a language the stakeholders can understand
- has good analytical skills but is balanced and pragmatic when taking decision showing a commercial mindset
- has a way with people and is able to build relationships with key stakeholders
- is eager to learn everything about insurance and underwriting
- is keen to contribute to digital transformation projects
Responsibilities:
You will be both drafting and reviewing Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ insurance contracts and any other legal documents issued or signed by Underwriters and Client Managers to ensure they adhere to Swiss Re’s standards and guidelines. You will also be the port of call for legal and contractual advice to your stakeholders acting as true consultant for your network. The role requires proactivity in following and keeping abreast with legal and regulatory trends and developments in the insurance industry.
You will be predominantly supporting the French market, within the EMEA team however, you will have the opportunity to work for and learn from other markets. .
