Role:
Associate Commercial Counsel, AI Research
Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and discuss a variety of commercial agreements, such as licenses and intellectual property agreements, master sponsored research agreements, and other collaborative agreements with academic institutions, governments, and industry partners.
- Manage agreements that comply with company policies and risk tolerance.
- Develop and maintain legal resources that are required for industry specific customers and partners, as well as trainings for internal teams.
- Serve as a trusted partner, and provide strategic, actionable guidance and advice, to business customers and cross-functional stakeholders on legal issues and risks, approval processes, company policies and procedures, intellectual property (IP), and business strategy.
- Respond promptly to legal requests from the business team and other clients, including at the executive level, summarizing, and communicating legal concepts for business audiences.
