Job Description:
First preference shall be given to Mumbai based candidates due to the scope of work involved in this internship.

Mode:
In-office (Location)/ Remote (Hybrid – May have to attend heavyweight disputes in Mumbai Courts)
Eligibility:
3-4th Year students
Experience:
Past corporate and litigation internship. Candidates with corp and lit experience together will be preferred.
Duration and Start Date:
2 months, starting on 1st January 2024
Practice Area and Work Profile:
Corporate and Business
Salary Range:
No stipend for two months. Post extension, it will be performance-based ranging from Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Timing/Hours of Commitment:
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday/Saturday
Miscellaneous Comment/Requirement:
- The intern will engage in legal and business-oriented research, contract drafting, attending heavyweight disputes in the courts of Mumbai, and
preparing reporting emails for the same. - International projects may also be assigned, involving research and participation in team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of a law school.
Responsibilities:
- Legal and Business Research: Conducting in-depth legal and business research for ongoing and upcoming projects. Analyzing and summarizing complex legal issues.
- Contract Drafting: Assisting in the drafting and review of contracts and legal documents.
- Court Attendance: Attending heavyweight disputes in the courts of Mumbai as required. Observing and assisting in court proceedings.
- Reporting of heavyweight court disputes of clients: Preparing detailed and accurate reports on court proceedings and legal
research. Drafting and sending reporting emails to relevant stakeholders. - International Projects: Participating in research and other activities related to international
projects. - Team Meetings: Actively participating in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and provide updates on assigned tasks.
Hybrid Work Mode:
The internship offers a hybrid work mode, allowing remote work with occasional in-office requirements, especially for court attendance.
