Role:
Senior Associate – Corporate Clientele
Qualifications:
- Law degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the Bar.
- Minimum three years of experience practising law with a focus on corporate & and commercial matters or as in-house counsel in any corporate entity. (MANDATORY QUALIFICATION)
- Proven track record of successful case management and client representation.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
1. Legal Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
- Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and internal teams.
2. Case Management:
- Manage a portfolio of cases across various practice areas.
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
3. Client Interaction:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
- Provide timely and transparent updates on case progress.
4. Supervision and Mentorship:
- Supervise and mentor junior associates and legal support staff.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their professional development.
5. Business Development:
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including client acquisition and retention.
- Participate in marketing efforts to promote the firm’s services.
