About: Anandh Venkataramani is a dual qualified Advocate* practicing dispute resolution in New Delhi. His primary areas of practice are civil and commercial litigation, in the Supreme Court, High Court, and various Tribunals. He has focussed prior experience in both Competition law as well as indirect taxation. He also handles white collar crime cases, and an increasing number of other criminal law work.
He has advised individual and corporate clients on disputes relating to competition law; consumer issues; contractual issues; corporate and shareholder issues; intellectual property; defamation; education; property; insolvency; home-buyer issues; money laundering; anticipatory bail, among others.
He has handled (and assisted in) cases before the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, various Appellate Tribunals, and the Competition Commission of India, on areas of law including arbitration; civil procedure; competition law, constitutional law, consumer affairs; contractual law; corporate and securities; education; electricity; indirect tax; information technology; intellectual property; money laundering; privacy; property; public procurement (tenders), service law, and writs.
*Admitted to the Bar in India, and the State of New York, USA.
Qualifications:
Law graduate with at least one year litigation experience (i.e., 2022 graduates or earlier).
The candidate must have clear articulation (written and oral). Good drafting skills and diligence at work are a must. The relevant forums and areas of practice of the office are mentioned in Anandh’s LinkedIn profile – however, knowledge of areas of law which this office is engaged in is not expected.
Responsibilities:
Among other things, the candidate will be responsible for drafting pleadings, and handling filings in different forums. There will be opportunities for appearances as well, but probably infrequent.
