Responsibilities:
- Drafting, Reviewing & Negotiating wide range of Agreements including Vendor, Partnership, Licensing, Non-Disclosure, Lease, customer, consultancy, etc. for Sagility and its related entities globally and implement and maintain contracts database all within the scope of enterprise risk tolerances.
- Provide advice to cross functional groups in connection with contract executions in various geo’s as per Sagility policy and processes, as needed.
- Provide legal advice on a broad range of general corporate matters, as needed.
- Stay informed of and communicate relevant legal developments within the region arising from case laws, legislation and regulatory enforcement of various legal matters.
- Wherever required develop presentations and provide training on relevant legal developments and contractual position to various internal stakeholders of Sagility.
- Identify and analyze the risk in every contract and effectively communicate the same to the stakeholders in Sagility including its subsidiaries in various geo’s.
- Support as needed, in procuring or developing in- house legal tools, uploading/updating details on the existing legal tools of Sagility.
- Sound knowledge of labour laws and provide support/advice, as needed on various labour/employment related matters.
- Timely response to all queries and emails; confirm to legal timelines for review of documents and under guidance of the corporate legal team in India.
- Perform all job duties as assigned by the supervising manager from time to time.
- Showcase sound judgement and ability to analyze situation and information.
- Contribute consistently, effectively, and timely as a team member within the legal team.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn US and other applicable region laws/regulations as they relate specifically to the healthcare sector and apply such expertise to all of Sagility global operations.
