Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Be able to communicate clearly and concisely, along with excellent proficiency in English and ability to understand legal invoices

- Proficient in SAP Concur, all Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel and analytical skills

Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years of work experience in Legal billing environment, preferably with a medium to large in-house team
- Must have experience with billing administration and familiarity with billing/accounting processes
- Experience auditing outside counsel invoices preferred
- Experience in a multinational finance shared services organization, nationally recognized law firm and/or private equity firm/alternative asset manager preferred
Responsibilities:
- Open and manage matters on a global basis, with support from KKR attorneys and staff. Serve as the point of contact for creation of new billable matter codes
- Complete allocation coding of matters and invoices to ensure proper payment routing to SAP
- Serve as primary point of contact for legal service providers globally with matter, invoice and billing inquiries
- Interact independently with attorneys, legal professionals, executive assistants, outside counsel and vendors to answer questions concerning invoicing/status, retention guidelines and to resolve any invoice issues
- Troubleshoot invoice submission and data dependency issues (e.g. matter not setup, service provider not assigned to matter, etc.)
- Perform first-line review of invoices for compliance with billing guidelines; conduct periodic invoice audits
- Remediate issues related to matters, invoicing and payment
- Provide regular reporting and assistance with Legal & Compliance Department budgeting
- Drive collection of budget, forecast and accrual data (both from internal legal team as well as law firms/vendors) in support of monthly forecasting exercise with KKR’s Accounts Payable department
- Partner with KKR’s Accounts Payable department
