Qualification:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a 3 year or 5 year in-person program. Candidates with degrees obtained through correspondence or in distance education programmes will not be eligible.
Experience:
1. 4-5 years post qualification litigation experience (PQE) in a top tier Intellectual Property firm.
2. A deep understanding of Intellectual Property Laws.
3. Extensive demonstrable experience in drafting plaints, applications, appeals in intellectual property laws.
4. Excellent writing and speaking skills, strong interpersonal skills; a team player.
5. Need to have regularly appeared before the Delhi High Court IPD over the last 2 years and have a good overall knowledge and familiarity with IPD practice and procedure.
6. Ability to independently create digital paperbooks, and e-file applications and pleadings.
7. Strong research skills and familiarity with applicable case laws.
Responsibilities:
- Independently drafting legal notices, plaints, applications and appeals for filing before the Court.
- Attending hearings before the Joint Registrar and the Courts.
- Independently briefing senior counsel and Partners of the firm.
- Providing practical and commercially savvy advice to clients and carrying out independent client communications.
