It currently has 9 partners, 1 executive director and a blend of 40 principal associates, senior associates and associates across the 3 cities. AQUILAW has a very robust corporate and commercial, real estate, infrastructure and dispute resolution (including arbitration) practice.

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB).
- 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in Labour Law and Employment Law.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice and representation to clients on a wide range of labour and employment law issues.
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and agreements.
- Must be proficient in day-to-day legal advisory, review of employee on-boarding / exit processes, contracts, statutory policies as well as comprehensive employment law audits and due diligences (both stand alone and as part of M&A transactions)
- Must have prior experience in advising clients on structuring internal processes (such as salary structures, leave policy, etc.) as per Indian employment laws, while remaining aligned with global / group policy framework.
- Must have prior experience and knowledge in handling industrial relations issues including negotiating settlement agreements, advising on processes, legal compliances and drafting documentation related to transfer of employees pursuant to business / asset transfers/ acquisitions, conducting employment due diligence, advising on internal restructurings or ongoing company management relating to domestic enquiry procedures
- Representing clients in labour disputes, including arbitrations and litigation.
- Conducting legal research and staying up to date with developments in labour and employment law.
- Providing training to clients and colleagues on labour law matters.
