Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience working in a legal environment, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of immigration laws and procedures is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough review and analysis of immigration cases, including visa applications, petitions, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in preparing and filing immigration-related documents with relevant government agencies.
- Communicate with employees, external legal counsel, and government authorities to gather necessary information and updates on immigration matters.
- Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Identify potential risks and liabilities in contracts and provide recommendations for mitigating such risks.
- Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the timely and efficient resolution of legal issues and matters.
