Role:
Associate General Manager-Legal
Qualifications:
- Master of Laws (LL.M) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- Bar Council certification is mandatory.
- Behavioral Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Thorough understanding of renewable energy laws and regulations; proven experience in litigation management within the renewable energy sector; expertise in drafting and reviewing legal agreements specific to renewable energy projects.
- Non-Negotiable Skills: Master of Laws (LL.M) or equivalent degree; Bar Council certification; proven experience in litigation management within the renewable energy sector.
Experience:
15 to 20 years of relevant experience in the legal field within the Renewable Energy industry.
Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice and guidance to management and various departments as needed.
- Managing litigation matters, including attending court hearings, drafting, reviewing, and vetting pleadings and court documents, and interacting with panel Advocates/Counsels to ensure favorable outcomes.
- Reviewing and drafting agreements to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with business needs.
- Maintaining proper records related to legal matters.
- Coordinating with all stakeholders to complete the TSR as per management requirements.
- Close coordination with internal and external customers to prevent litigation.
