Legal Contracts – Deputy Manager
Qualifications:
- 7 – 9 years of experience in end-to-end contract management in a Fintech or Technology space.
- Strong Legal acumen, Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and coordinate complex issues with diverse levels of management and employees and other stakeholders including but not limited to clients/vendors/service provider etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic growth-mode environment.
- Proficient with MS Word/MS Office/Data (storage) software(s)/modules and/or Digital Agreement Signing ecosystems/software(s).
- Experience with a law firm or as an in-house counsel is preferred.
- A candidate having experience working with a Payments/ Banks//Software Companies/Trading Company highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
The major responsibilities would include being a part of the legal Contracts team in order to ensure effective management of legal and contractual matters, in addition to identification and mitigation of legal risks for the organization. Handling End-to-end legal management of assigned business transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing, red-lining, negotiating, and finalizing documents (Contracts, Letters, Proposals, RFPs, click-wrap agreements etc.) from a legal perspective, ensuring minimal/no risk to the organization.
- Resolve any contractual issues developed while working with clients, partners, service providers, and vendors.
- Liaising with various internal stakeholders (Business, finance, and Tech teams) to ensure timely closure of agreements and advise them on contractual mandates and compliances.
- Ability to understand and analyze business requirements/needs, spot issues, and propose/implement solutions.
- Adherence with internal frameworks, mandates, and processes.
- End-to-end legal management of assigned business transactions.
- Liaising with internal/external audit team/s to understand and close their queries on legal contracts
- Managing the internal Contracts tool and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data uploaded there
