Senior Associate- IP

Qualifications:
• LLB or equivalent with a focus on Intellectual Property law.
• 5-7 years of experience in IP law, including prosecution, oppositions, litigation, and enforcement.
• Experience in managing cases before High Courts, District Courts, and the Trademark Registry.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
Responsibilities:
• IP Prosecution & Oppositions: Handle trademark filings, prosecution, and opposition proceedings, as well as advise on trademark availability and infringement.
• IP Litigation & Enforcement: Represent clients in IP-related litigation (trademarks, copyrights, patents) and criminal enforcement actions such as copyright infringement.
• Legal Advisory: Provide strategic guidance on IP protection, portfolio management, licensing, and commercialization of IP rights.
• Drafting & Documentation: Draft and negotiate IP contracts, including licensing and assignment agreements.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain client relationships, offering proactive, tailored legal solutions. • Team Leadership: Mentor junior associates and contribute to the growth of the IP practice.
