About:
PRS Legislative Research is a leading public policy research group committed to strengthening India’s democracy by supporting the effective functioning of Parliament and state legislatures. PRS provides analysis on legislative and policy issues and promotes citizen engagement with elected representatives.
Roles:
Interns in –
• Research Team
• Outreach Team
• Data Team
• Design Team
Location:
New Delhi, India
Qualification:
• Deep interest in the functioning of Parliament and legislative processes
• Additional role-specific requirements:
· Research Interns: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and writing skills
· Data Interns: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and programming (Python, Java, C++, JavaScript); experience in data processing/ML preferred
· Design Interns: Understanding of design principles and experience with tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
Responsibilities:
• Assist analysts or outreach team members on legislative and policy research
• Undertake an independent internship project
• Contribute to research reports, media outreach, or legislative tracking depending on the team
