About:
The Centre for Law and Policy Research (CLPR) is a not-for-profit trust dedicated to making the Constitution work for everyone through law and policy research, social and governance interventions, and strategic impact litigation. Their primary focus is on addressing discrimination at the intersections of caste, gender, disability, and other minority groups.

Qualification:
- Essential: A Bachelor’s degree in Law with strong academic credentials.
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively for diverse audiences.
- Capacity to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for networking and collaboration.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and online research tools.
Desirable:
- A postgraduate degree in Law, Public Policy, or related fields.
- 0 – 3 years of experience in legal research, litigation, or policy advocacy.
- Prior work on issues relating to Dalit and Adivasi rights, gender justice, disability rights, or minority rights will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to rights-based research and social justice.
Responsibilities:
- Compile, organize, and analyze legal materials including case law, legislation, and policy documents.
- Conduct doctrinal, comparative, and empirical research on issues relating to constitutional rights and social justice.
- Draft research outputs including reports, academic papers, policy briefs, and blog posts.
- Support the design and delivery of workshops, consultations, and public events.
- Assist in project management including timelines, documentation, and reporting.
- Contribute to dissemination activities including website content, newsletters, and social media outreach.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders including academics, civil society, and government officials.
- Undertake other allied administrative responsibilities as assigned.
