Role:
The Zhong Lun Law Firm Dispute Resolution Team in London now offers opportunities for aspiring law students and graduates. Working with them would be valuable experience and a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a career in English law. Working in their team will avail extensive exposure to a wide range of practice areas in different industries and areas of law, which would lay a solid foundation for your future career. The team acts in international arbitrations before the ICC, LCIA, LMAA and other international arbitration centres and in litigation proceedings in the English Courts. The main practice areas include international commercial trade disputes, insolvencies and liquidations, cross-border financial and shareholder disputes, etc.
Requirements:
- Excellent academic background in English law, with a 2:1 (or equivalent) or above, preferably having completed LLB, GDL or SQE, LLB graduates preferred, completion of LPC is a plus;
- Excellent English oral and written skills, proficiently fluent in Chinese with zero communication barrier;
- Robust legal research skills in both Chinese and English jurisdictions;
- Capable of independently carrying out professional translation and interpretation between Chinese and English;
- Experience of working in international law firms, or being an active participant in world-class moot competitions, award winners preferred;
- Great attention to detail, thinking on your feet, agility & resilience;
- Capable of quickly grasping and processing large volume of documents with excellent self-learning ability;
- They value team players, unwavering work ethics, proactive attitude and willing to take responsibility with goal-oriented can-do spirit.

Zhong Lun London office, or remote (to be negotiated)
