Qualifications:
1. Candidate must be pursuing a Master’s Degree or Ph.D. degree in Law or related field.
2. Working with confidential documents and under confidentiality obligations.
3. Contract formation, preparation, negotiation, review, and drafting skills.
4. Identifies key risk areas in a contract.
5. Contract drafting and negotiation.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
1.Drafting legal documents such as motions, briefs, complaints, or pleadings based on the attorney’s instructions
2.Researching applicable laws and legal precedents in order to provide legal support to attorneys working on cases
3.Drafting contracts, wills, trusts, deeds, corporate charters, and other legal documents
4.Preparing and filing legal documents with courts
5. Interviewing clients, witnesses, and other individuals involved in a case in order to gather information about the facts of the case.
6. Reviewing and summarizing case files to determine what additional action is needed by the attorney.
7. Drafting LOI’s & Agreements.
8. Conducting legal research on issues relevant to cases being tried in court
9. Preparing briefs, motions, petitions, and other legal documents for the court.
10. Help draft and edit the contract templates.
