About:
Swechha is a New Delhi based, youth-led youth-run organization dedicated to enabling ourselves and others around us to ‘Be the Change’, in making a visible difference to the Environment- both Physical and Social.
Role:
Swechha India is looking for Communications Interns. The ideal candidates should have experience in managing new media for organisations, a flair for journalistic writing, great interest in climate change and sustainability, an eye for good design and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Some of the responsibilities of the interns will include:
- Conducting research, drafting scripts and disseminating short videos on climate related issues
- Contribute regularly to Swechha’s blog through writing on issues that are in line with key strategic pillars of Swechha India (equity, accessibility and sustainability),
- Providing editorial assistance for Swechha India’s external publications including the Newsletter
- Event planning and organising
How to Apply:
They’re looking for candidates who are available for a period of three months (September-December) and are ready to start as soon as possible. Background in journalism or media would be preferred.
