ADR Deputy Manager
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have a law degree and in-depth know-how of and practical experience in alternative dispute resolution.
- A formal legal qualification (i.e. Bar exam or equivalent). However, this is not essential if a candidate can demonstrate sufficient legal training and experience in international dispute resolution.
- Applicants must have proven experience working in the legal field and drafting legal texts.
- Experience in administering dispute resolution procedures and preparing procedural decisions is an advantage.
- Candidates must be well organised, have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively in a multicultural team.
- Applicants must have proven experience speaking in public and presenting complex issues in English and French.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in English and French are essential, knowledge in Spanish would be an advantage.
Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in an international environment.
Responsibilities:
The roles involve both legal and administrative tasks including:
- the day-to-day administration of the cases filed with the Centre under the ICC Mediation, Expert, DOCDEX and Dispute Boards Rules,
- promoting ICC Mediation, Expertise, DOCDEX and Dispute Boards services, including representing ICC at conferences and other events,
- working on specific projects regarding ICC dispute resolution under the supervision of the Manager of the department,
- supporting the Case Management Arbitration teams when needed, under the supervision of the DRS Managing Counsel, following specific training.
