Qualifications:
- Excellent drafting and negotiating skills.
- Relevant experience and expertise in similarly responsible job position, preferably should have worked in legal department of a reputed company
- Capable of initiating, driving, and closing contracts.
- Be capable of making legal research and legal recommendations to resolve problems or improve process.
- Promote open, constructive, and collaborative relations with superiors, peers, and clients (internal & external).
- Adhere to Turn around Time standards and processes to deliver excellent legal service.
Responsibilities:
- Effective contract management, including drafting/reviewing agreements, standardizing documents, and mitigating business risks through organized contract management
- Analyzing and assessing business processes, identifying issues, and proposing solutions
- Reviewing current systems and implementing policies and changes for compliance
- Drafting, structuring, and reviewing various commercial agreements such as marketing, media, endorsement, production, branding, IT, e-commerce, supply, payment gateway, MOUs, NDAs, and service agreements
- Drafting relevant policies and reviewing online platforms belonging to the organization
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and implementing necessary changes
- Advising and counseling the business team to minimize risk exposure
- Liaising with internal stakeholders (business, finance, taxation teams) for timely agreement closure
- Providing legal support and advice to internal customers on relevant legal issues
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal customers to promote the value of the legal function
- Conducting legal research and providing opinions to internal stakeholders for all corporate legal work.
