Qualifications:
- Excellent Communication an interpersonal skill.
- Should carry hands-on experience in reviewing NDAs and other agreements
- Should be clear on contractual concepts, exposure to corporate and commercial laws.
- Has good writing and proof-reading skills, including the rules of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Microsoft Office skills: Intermediate to Advanced Word, basic PowerPoint and Excel
- B or equivalent legal qualification is mandatory
- 3-5 years prior legal experience, preferably in a corporate
- Previous work experience in services Industry will be preferred
- Background of contract review or other transactional legal work will be preferred
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, vetting, reviewing, negotiating agreements, amendments, other legal documents with a good understanding of risk.
- To make sure that all the agreements are in accordance with organization policies and business practices.
- Review, interpret, analyze Mater Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Vendor Agreements, tender documents/RFP and advising internal team as required.
- Maintain Contract Database along with sending renewal reminders and processing/ drafting renewal or amendment agreements.
- Working in close co-ordination with other departments and external Legal Counsels.
- Assisting external lawyer with information required for legal proceedings and sharing regular status updates internally.
- Ability to quickly grasp legal and business issues and support business according to priorities.
- To review/improve / enhance internal policies / procedures / documentation in accordance with Legal and regulatory requirements on an ongoing basis in consultation with key stakeholders
