Qualification:
- LLB/ LLM (desirable) from an accredited law school with 8-10+years of experience overall experience
- Sound knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to draft clear, professional and legally robust correspondence, contractual documentation, policies and other documentation.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
- Review, draft, and negotiate various legal agreements, including but not limited to contracts, leases, licenses, and confidentiality agreements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting the organization.
- Assess legal risks and provide recommendations to mitigate potential liabilities.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel, as necessary, to handle complex legal matters.
- Assist in developing and implementing internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Participate in contract management and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization and provide proactive advice and training to internal teams.
- Manage and resolve legal disputes, including potential litigation matters.
- Conduct legal due diligence for potential partnerships, acquisitions, or other strategic initiatives.
- Provide legal support for corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, human resources, and operations, to ensure legal compliance across the organization.
