Role:
Associate- Legal & Business Affairs
Qualifications:
· Associate degree or paralegal certificate strongly preferred, and/or bachelor degree and/or relevant legal experience in finance or technology sectors strongly preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Experienced professional with 5+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically at a Senior Analyst or Analyst level role or external equivalent
· Contracts-related legal experience in a corporate or law firm setting (in-house legal department or procurement role strongly preferred)
· Demonstrate high academic achievement, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
· Skill in the creation, integration, revision and management of contracts and legal documents
· Excellent teaming, project leadership, and communication skills
· Superior attention to detail, as well as organizational and multi-tasking skills
· Strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of professionalism, discretion and business judgment
· Research and analytical skills
· Strong client service orientation
· Knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other internet resources
Responsibilities:
Contract Specialist
- Facilitate contract signatures.
- Prepare templates and maintain organization thereof
- Abstract required terms of professional services and technology contracts including master services agreements, NDAs, statements of work, engagement letters, and software license agreements.
- Maintain and organize contract records
- Maintain officer and signatory list
- Maintain company affiliate description list and org charts, international and domestic U.S.
Special Projects/Ad Hoc Support
- Support legal department on various research projects, including research, organization and forming policies and procedures
- Support operations of contract work flow and projects to migrate and maintain contract organization systems.
- Support projects in relation to mergers and acquisitions.
- Support vendor management in due diligence request responses
