Associate Legal Counsel/Assistant Manager

Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate must have LLB qualification with 4-6 years of experience in-house experience in contracts drafting and negotiating in a multinational company (preferably Financial Industry/IAsset Management Company/Information Technology)
- Knowledege and experience on Tech / Cloud Outsourcing Regulations e.g. ESMA, EBA, EIOPA relevant to cloud contracts
- Extensive experience of reviewing and negotiating (mid to high complexity) Tech. and Non-Tech commercial contracts including but not limited to contracts related to Cloud Services (SaaS, IaaS), Outsourcing arrangements, Software Licensing, Market Data, Staff Augmentation services, Professional / Consultancy Services, Support Services Agreements / Service Level Agreement etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent judgment; business sense; high standards of ethics, honesty and integrity
- Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to successfully manage several ongoing assignments.
- Good understanding on a wide range of legal subjects, ability to build on this knowledge and bring in relevant SME’s to resolve issues as and when needed.

- Cross-border /international engagement linked experience is must
- Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to successfully manage several ongoing assignments.

Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and documents including but not limited to Cloud Outsourcing Agreements, SaaS, IaaS, Software License, Master Services Agreement, Statement of Works (SOWs), UK / EU Data Protection Agreements, contracts amendments, change orders.
- Assess scope of work, commercial and legal aspects of the contract for potential risks related to regulatory compliance applicable to Tech / cloud outsourcing, liability & Indemnity, UK / EU / APAC data protection regulations and anti-bribery and corruption.
- Collaborate with procurement team resolve issues concerning commercial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Company policies
- Providing legal advice and support to various business units on need basis
- Helping junior lawyers in their work and co-ordination with stakeholders
- Providing legal support to the project delivery, Service implementation and other business units on need basis
