Qualification:
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and workstreams, and prioritise appropriately including the ability to work independently as a team player to ensure timely delivery of work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage client interactions, strategic legal thinking and capable of arriving at practical legal solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal research tools.
Experience:
PQE 4 to 6 years of experience at law firm in general corporate and commercial transactions, with special focus on general corporate advisory, technology transactions, regulatory compliance, foreign investment, TMT, IPR, business transfers, joint ventures, corporate structuring, securities law, insolvency and bankruptcy, among other related areas of law.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting memorandum and legal opinions on various legal issues including inter alia those pertaining to the legal and regulatory framework in the aforesaid sectors under FDI laws, validity of FLDG model, employment and labour laws, battery and PLI schemes and incentives for battery manufacturers.
- Drafting and vetting of joint venture agreements, infrastructure and projects related documents/tender documents.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various complex, non-standard commercial contracts, including but not limited to collaboration agreements, technology/IP licensing, etc.
- Advising clients on an array of other matters that may include standard terms and conditions, NDAs, license agreements, leave and license/lease agreements, competitions and promotions, advertising and marketing, e-commerce/online.
