About:
Sanjay Dewan, an alumnus of Campus Law Centre Delhi University, has been in legal practice since 1991. With over 32 years of experience in civil and criminal litigation, he expertise in the laws and matters relating to family & matrimonial disputes, land & property disputes, forest & revenue matters, consumer protection, commercial disputes, et al.
Additionally, he had been a counsel for the Government of NCT of Delhi from 1999 to 2022, before the High Court of Delhi. Besides this, he also serves as a counsel to several other departments and organisations, including the Land & Building Dept. (GNCTD), NBCC, SPMCIL and NTPC.
Having vast experience in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution, he has been acting as a Mediator in the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre for more than a decade, and is an empanelled Arbitrator with the Delhi International Arbitration Centre. He is often invited by several law schools to judge Competitions relating to Mediation/Arbitration.
He has also held the post of Administrator General and Official Trustee of Delhi from 2004-2019.
