About:
Lend A Hand India works in partnership with state governments to integrate skill education with existing school curricula in grades 9 to 12. This education is then supplemented with internship opportunities in local businesses during grades 11 and 12, thereby facilitating the school-to-work transition. Currently working in 24 States/UTs across India, it covers 10,000+ schools, 1 million+ students in partnership with the state governments.

Associate/Senior Associate
Qualifications:
- A Postgraduate degree from a recognized university in India, or a Graduate degree in Engineering/Medical Sciences.
- Minimum of 2 years on-field experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working directly with Government officials at the District level or above, either directly or as part of a project/NGO.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sectors like Education, Skill Development, Governance, Employment, Livelihood, or Industry.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in any stream under social/rural/skill development/education sector.
- Previous Fellowship or Entrepreneurial Experience.
- Experience in community development, advocacy, industry engagement, and coordination with district-level officials.
- Enterprising nature with an ability to take initiative and a “make-it-happen” attitude.
- Capacity to work in ambiguous situations with curiosity.
- Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in core business tools.
- A sense of humor and the ability to learn from failures.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders at the District/Block Level to effectively implement internships as part of Vocational Education in schools.
- Support State Samagra Shiksha in monitoring and providing necessary hand-holding to stakeholders at the school level.
- Systematically engage Local Representatives (ZP/MNC Members, Committees, Corporators, Block/Gram Panchayats).
- Diligently monitor school and student-level outcomes.
- Advocate for internship programs across different forums.
- Facilitate industry engagement, community participation, and vertical mobility pathways for students post-vocational education.
Maintain and manage:
- Program progress data and reports.
- Key contacts and communications.
- Case studies and research documents.
- Prepare monthly progress reports for the Program at the district/block level.
- Engaging in extensive field travel, averaging 15 working days per month.
- Working directly with adolescent children (ages 14-19) and fresh graduates.
- Engaging stakeholders at various levels including schools, industries, and government entities.
- Operating with minimal supervision in ambiguous or uncertain scenarios.
