About:
Gibran Naushad is a commercial disputes lawyer based in New Delhi. His core areas of practice include general commercial litigation, arbitration, taxation, insolvency and transactional drafting and advisory.
In addition to regularly appearing and arguing before Courts and Tribunals, Gibran is approached on regular basis to provide commercial and pre-dispute advisory to clients, including tax advisory and cross-border tax planning.

• Gibran has been appointed by the President of India to serve as a Senior Standing Counsel for the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs for Delhi High Court.
• Gibran has been appointed by the President of India to serve as a Senior Panel Counsel for the Government of India for conducing Central Government litigation in the Supreme Court of India.
• Gibran has been appointed as a Standing Counsel (Jr.) by the Central Board of Direct Taxes for Delhi High Court.
• Gibran has been appointed by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh as a Special Counsel for disputes in the Supreme Court of India and specialised tribunals in Delhi.
