Role: BD Specialist
PQE: 0-6 months
Location: Noida, UP
Qualifications:
- 0-6 months with graduate degree in any field
- Candidates with technical degree such as B. Tech, diploma in technical domain shall be preferred.
- The ideal candidate should be a self-starter and a team player
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit, possess good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills and be willing to dig into the details (company literature, industry trends, etc.).
- Having basic knowledge of MS word, excel and outlook.
Responsibilities:
- You will identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships. You will work with the Patent Engineers, Finance and IP Legal teams to develop appropriate marketing materials, collateral and negotiate deals with customers in various areas of business. This role is about creating new relationships with potential clients and building relationships with existing clients, including internal, to identify new and/or broader partnership opportunities.
- Business development combines sales and skills in managing relationships in order to create growth and new business for the company. The Patent BDEs work with the PE department to identify new markets to increase the client’s base of AKSH IP ASSOCIATES.
- A key part of the Patent BDE’s role is research, including use of media and various market sector reports to identify market trends and new business opportunities. Before meeting a prospective new client, BDEs shall research the organization and identify counterparts that will be decision makers. It is also their responsibility to identify events at which the company should have a presence to further business opportunities.
- New Leads – The BDEs create new leads for the company either by working with existing client teams or by meeting new potential clients and calling on new clients. Establishing contact, follow-up calls and engagement through deal closure is completely the responsibility of the Patent BDE.
