Compliance Manager
Location:
Mumbai (Andheri East – Western Line)
Qualifications:
- Experience person from NBFCs with strong hold over RBI Regulations for systemically important NBFCs.
- 5+ years of experience into compliance, risk management, regulatory
- Ability to assess complex compliance issues and develop solutions
- Proficiency in addressing compliance challenges
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, other documents and establishment and maintenance of processes and controls governing business activities, such as manuals, codes of conduct and the likes, to comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations with specific emphasis on RBI regulations for NBFC.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements set forth by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) or relevant authorities.
- Assessing the adequacy of compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines, resolving any identified deficiencies, and formulating proposals for revisions or amendments
- Providing comprehensive support during regulatory audits, inspection, and queries
- Coordinating with internal auditors for providing data and clarifications
- Assisting in statutory, internal, and special audits by collating data, and conducting preliminary review
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors and external legal counsels to address compliance-related matters and maintain a strong regulatory posture.
- Handling litigations and any legal notices
- Managing and driving processes within the Compliance team to support Product, Business, Operations and Finance team and proactively plug in gaps
- Train and educate staff on NBFC compliance standards and regulatory changes.
