Corporate Paralegal
Qualifications:
- Degree in corporate secretary with excellent academic credentials.
- Familiar with MCA/ ACRA/ other Biz-filings and corporate secretarial requirements.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of corporate secretarial experience supporting operations for multinational companies.
- Knowledge of company law, corporate governance principles and regulatory frameworks highly preferred.
- Solid experience in drafting meeting minutes, organizing company documents.
- Having basic contract law knowledge and drafting basic commercial agreement skills is advantageous.
- Confidence to speak on corporate secretarial issues to internal customers, external counsels, and board members.
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to track large numbers of documents and projects using Excel and PowerPoint and other applications.
- Reliable attention to detail and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle internal clients professionally.
- Excellent people skills and the ability to work effectively in a global team environment with high ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Support corporate secretarial activities for Micron legal entities globally.
- Maintain corporate records and work closely with our relationship external counsels in India and across Asia.
- Support Micron Attorneys who provide legal advice and counsel to the business teams.
- Conduct basic due diligence, prepare initial drafts of documents, and track the ongoing status of various legal department projects as needed.
- Collaborate with the finance and accounting team to ensure accurate and timely completion of annual filings for all our legal entities in India and Asia
- Other responsibilities may include, under supervision of the responsible Micron Attorneys, attending internal meetings with the Micron business teams, communicating with counterparties and/or their legal counsel via conference calls and e-mail, and working with the Micron staff and attorneys in the broader Micron Legal Department.
