8-12 years of demonstrated success across M&A, PE/VC transaction with a nationally recognised law firm
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support throughout all stages of mergers, acquisitions, strategic and financial investments, including deal structuring, negotiation, and execution.
- Leading a team of 4-5 practitioners, and shall report to the Practice Head. The successful candidate would be responsible for end to end transaction control and shall lead all corporate advisory matters.
- Lead and manage legal due diligence processes, identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and related commercial contracts.
- Advise on corporate governance matters, including compliance with company formation documents, board and shareholder approvals, and related party transactions.
- Advise on compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Stay updated on evolving legal standards and best practices.
- Liaise with clients, internal teams, external counsel, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth transaction processes and effective communication
