Role:
Counsellor: Family Courts of Uttarakhand
Qualifications:
(i) Age and Nationality:
- The candidate should not be above 62 years as on the last date of application for Counsellor. However, the condition of upper age limit may be relaxed by the Competent Authority in case of deserving candidate.
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
(ii) Educational qualification and Experience:
- Counsellor- Certificate holder in Couple and Family Therapy or a psychologists or an MSW from a UGC recognized University. (The preference shall be given to those candidates, who have requisite experience of working with NGOs and in the field of matrimonial matters, Children matters and senior citizens matters or having worked with persons facing mental health issues).
Responsibilities:
The Counsellor would do counselling in matrimonial disputes, matters relating to women and children, senior citizens, persons with mental health issues etc. The Counsellor would help couples to understand the source of their conflicts and try to resolve them. They would help address and resolve the issues which couples may not realize that such issues are the core of their problems. They will analyse the behavioural patterns of couples and identify those who lead the conflict, in order to get resolved the dispute.

S. NAGAR (NAME OF DISTRICTS)”. One Candidate may apply only for ‘01’ District. If a candidate applies for more than ‘01’ districts his/her application shall be rejected without any intimation to the candidate. Last date for submitting application is 20.10.2024 till 05:00 PM.
