About:
Lloyd Law College, an esteemed institute for legal studies since 2003, invites applications for the post of Director, Research and Innovation. The research department at Lloyd is committed to developing and carrying out legal inquiry initiatives to establish an effectual setting for interdisciplinary study and teaching. It has been extensively involved in publishing scholarly works such as journals, collections of essays, and monographs.
The Centre’s mission is to educate and prepare students to do high-quality legal research. Students in the Centre’s BA LL.B. and LL.B. programmes, from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, participate in training to conduct research on pressing social and legal issues.

Qualifications:
- The candidates eligible to apply MUST hold a Post-doctorate degree in law (Phd, Law).
- They must hold the title of Professor and have an extensive experience in research and publication.
- Having held positions of Editors in various journals and publications of repute would strengthen the candidature.
- A strong background in the following is an indispensable requirement:
- Legal Editing
- Content Creation and Management
- Publication, Research, and Mentoring
- Immaculate Documentation Skills
- Well-versed with MS Office and other Editing tools and technical know-how
- Substantial experience in conducting, supervising, and compiling legal projects and research-based outcomes
Responsibilities:
As the Director, Research and Innovation, you will be required to:
- Supervise and facilitate various discipline-centric as well as interdisciplinary research endeavours.
- You will be required to coordinate with the team of researchers and provide mentorship for the efficient and effective editing and publishing of research reports.
- The Director will be required to extensively and exhaustively proofread, copyedit, as well as provide content and formatting-related interventions to the team of editors functioning under their guidance and supervision
- Communication with renowned publishers and ensuring checks and balances, as well as relaying of information to and fro between the in-house team of editors as well as the professional publishing team, also forms a core part of the duties of the Director.
- Supervision of legal editing of books, journals, and manuscripts
