To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor of law
- Qualified graduate and member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India
- Minimum experience of 6 years preferably with in-house experience
- Exposure in handling Corporate secretarial matters of other countries would be an added advantage
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Worked in an In-House Legal Department of a Global MNC for minimum 5 years supporting multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:
The work within GDS Legal team across all GDS locations is highly varied and covers matters arising from the running and expansion of our professional services business.
You will be responsible for a range of secretarial matters including:
- Prepare agendas, notice and minutes for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGM) and follow up on action points
- Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries
- Implement processes or systems to ensure good management of the organization
- Take an active role and provide valuable input to the management decisions related to sharing issues, mergers, and takeovers
- Implementing of Corporate Governance processes
- Handling of all regulatory compliances including filings where applicable.
You will be required to support the GDS Corporate Counsel in implementing and monitoring an operating framework appropriate to each jurisdiction.
