Qualifications:
• Minimum Qualification – Graduate/Post Graduate in law from a reputed institution.
• Ideal Qualification – 12+ years of experience in a corporate law firm or in the in-house legal team of a company with knowledge in property laws.
• Industry Background – Real estate sector.
• Key Soft Skill Sets – strong communication skills and proficiency in regional language.
• Key Technical Skill Sets- In depth understanding of drafting and negotiating the agreements.
• Understanding Required on MS Office.
• Attitude Brief – strong work ethics; team player; high degree of professionalism.

• Strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for service delivery.

Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for supporting the leasing/projects/center operation teams by providing expert advice on legal matters; drafting and vetting the various contracts across the range of the organization’s activities. He/ she will be responsible for:
• Handling all land / title related issues.
• Ensuring all required approvals, licenses and compliances are in order.
• Creating and updating all the project related contracts, work orders, tenders.
• Sending notices to various contractors for their defaults and responding to notices received from various contractors / vendors.
• Drafting of Lease Deeds and MOUs for the retail stores.
• Coordinating with the tenants and completing the registration of lease deeds.
• Monitor the legal documentation and taking timely action.
• To prepare and review the service level agreements, marketing agreements, branding agreements.
• Drafting of legal notices, addendums to the agreements and other ancillary documents required from time to time.
• Vetting, negotiating and finalizing the agreements.
• Following up with legal counsels on court cases and legal proceedings.
• To interact and advise Leasing /Projects/Marketing/ Finance & Accounts/ Center Operation teams in ensuring compliance with all SOPs and other regulations of the company.
• To update and assist the department heads about the new legislations, regulations and relevant legal norms.
• Proactive management to avoid future litigations or reduce the financial risk wherever possible.
• Conducting general legal research.
