Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, PG in IRPM, or a related field.
- Age : Below 50 Years & Hindi language speaking, Writing is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and work collaboratively with senior management.
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
- Proficiency in compliance software and tools.
Experience:
- Minimum of 20+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles.
- Proven experience in a senior compliance role within a similar industry – Manufacturing/EPC.
Responsibilities:
The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) is responsible for ensuring the company adheres to legal standards and internal policies. This role involves overseeing compliance programs, developing policies, and managing compliance-related issues across the organization. The CCO works closely with senior management to implement and maintain effective compliance strategies and practices.
Key Responsibilities: Compliance Strategy
- All Plants/Group Statutory Compliances; Licenses, all applicable Acts adherence, Settling the labor issues, Contract Labor Management compliances, Attending the labor cases, settlements, IR issues etc.,
- Develop and implement an effective compliance program to ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the compliance team.
- Advise Management on compliance issues and ensure they are informed of any significant risks or regulatory changes.
Policy Development and Implementation:
- Create, review, and update policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Communicate compliance policies and guidelines to all employees.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees understand compliance requirements.
Risk Management:
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.
- Provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Oversee the regular monitoring and auditing of compliance procedures.
- Prepare and present clear and concise compliance reports to senior management and the Board.
- Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate or required.
Investigation and Resolution:
- Lead investigations into compliance issues and coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries or investigations.
- Ensure all investigations are documented and findings are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Implement corrective actions and monitor the effectiveness of these actions.
Liaison and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between the company and external regulators.
- Coordinate efforts related to audits, reviews, and examinations.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organization.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current on industry regulations and standards.
- Identify trends and anticipate changes in the regulatory environment.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in compliance processes.
