Role:
They are recruiting for a Head of Legal (f/m/d)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of the legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies, and priorities
- Report to the CEO and advising other senior corporate officers on a variety of legal issues
- Develop and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company’s matters
- Ensure that the legal department – staff and resources – are managed effectively
- Assist for new business set up and coordination with all economic, regulatory, and tax authorities
- Lead the implementation of insurance program & claims management
- Implement and manage the compliance program – in accordance with Deutsche Bahn Group standards
- Manage litigation and claims for insurance
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience as legal advisor, head of legal in India, preferably both in the in-house function as well as in law firms
- Proven track of experience in following legal areas: commercial law, competition law, contract law and dealing with litigations. Previous experience in labor law is added value
- Previous experience in supporting the executive level as a legal advisor in internal and external stakeholder management
- Previous experience in the area of transport, railway or construction will be an advantage
- Good knowledge of compliance topics for example in the previous role as a compliance officer
- Fluency in business English, both written and spoken is mandatory
- Business maturity and ability to work under pressure
- Good written and communication skills in general
