Qualification:
- Educational Background: LLB from a recognized university in India.
- Professional Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department with exposure to data protection, privacy, and intellectual property law.
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in trademark law and experience with trademark registration processes.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for various types of contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Language: Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

1-2 years
Responsibilities:
- Data Protection and Privacy:
- Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with data protection laws, including GDPR and Indian data privacy laws.
- Draft and review privacy policies and data processing agreements.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and manage data protection breaches and incidents.
- Branding and Trademark Registration:
- Advise on branding strategies and protect intellectual property rights.
- Handle trademark registration, opposition, and enforcement.
- Conduct trademark searches and provide guidance on brand protection strategies.
- Contract Negotiation:
- Negotiate, draft, and review software contracts, including SaaS agreements, licensing agreements, and service level agreements.
- Negotiate and draft general agreements such as NDAs, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
- General Legal Support:
- Provide legal support and advice on various matters, including compliance and corporate governance.
- Assist with litigation and dispute resolution as needed.
- Keep abreast of legal developments and provide updates and training to relevant departments.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies as required.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure all legal aspects of projects are covered.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective legal support.
