Are you a law graduate/ legal professional looking for job opportunities as a Privacy Associate? This opportunity might be of interest to you!
About:
An Advocate-on-Record, he practices at the Supreme Court in a range of matters and also appears before the Delhi High Court, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, Competition Commission of India, and other fora in Delhi. He has a fairly broad practice, but areas of particular focus include Civil and Commercial Law, Competition Law, Constitutional Law, and Criminal Law (largely pro bono and before the Supreme Court).
Role:
Junior Colleague
Qualifications:
Due diligence, sincerity, and the willingness to learn are the most important qualities. Language and drafting skills are important given the work, but can improve with time. For both parties, it makes little sense unless there is a plan for a reasonably long professional relationship (two years at least). He believes the normal learning curve requires this and doesn’t care about which college/ law school you are from, but would be interested in how you have used opportunities to learn and grow wherever you have found yourself.
Responsibilities:
For the person joining, work would include research, drafting, meeting and coordinating with clients, and appearing in court. Appearances in the beginning are likely to be procedural/ non-substantive, but I am happy to give more opportunities once the person grows into the role.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates can send their applications to rishad@rchowdhury.in by December 23, 2022. Please send an email indicating (in 3-4 paragraphs) why you think you would be a good fit for the chambers, and please attach a 1-2 page resume.
